Cast film production lines require powerful and reliable surface treatment at wide widths and high speeds. Enercon has developed Ultrawide corona treating solutions specifically for this application. Our stainless steel electrode design is ideal for treating BOPP, OPP, BOPET, BOPA and more. Its design ensures thermal stability, simple gap adjustment and protection from web breaks. Our Compak™ power supplies are programmed for reliable performance for high kW and watt density applications.
Electrode Assemblies

Smart Pneumatics
Electrode assemblies pivot their position to prevent damage from web breaks at high speeds. While in operation low pressure ensures the electrode remains in the treatment position. Should the assembly detect pressure from the incoming web the smart pneumatics automatically pivot the assembly away from the web. Electrodes are then pneumatically assisted back into the treat position.
Power Supplies
Enercon Compak™ Series power supplies are sized to reliably deliver the kW and Watt Density required for high speed treatment. Deluxe operator interface provides operators with advanced control of all treatment functions.
Enercon systems are designed to operate in a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C (104°F) @ 80% relative humidity, non-condensing.
